The 21st-century leadership environment is one of exhaustive systemic complexity.  These are times of growing instability, personal disconnection and disorientating integration of AI technologies.

To face such challenges, today’s leaders must not only possess the capacity for logic, reason, discernment and be able to achieve results, but also the skills to deeply listen, be present and receptive to higher levels of insight.  With this, they can more easily inspire authentic engagement and collaboration.  Now more than ever leaders must engage and empower, motivate and connect with others to navigate this hybrid and complex world.

Our Coaching in Action programme will help you to become a better Leader, fit for the demands of the future workplace.

Three Powerful Transformations

From Problem-Solver to People-Developer

Unlock Potential in Others

Move beyond being the leader with all the answers. Better leaders empower individuals to think for themselves: learn to ask powerful questions that spark insight and ownership. Build a team that thinks critically and takes initiative, rather than waiting to be told what to do.

From Surface Conversations to Deep Impact

Listen Beneath the Words

Develop the ability to hear what really matters and address underlying patterns and beliefs. Create lasting change by going beyond quick fixes to build genuine capability and confidence in your people

From Reactive to Intentional Leadership

Lead with Self-Awareness

Understand your triggers, patterns, and emotional responses. Choose how you show up in high-pressure moments rather than reacting automatically. Lead with consistency, authenticity, and greater effectiveness.

Frequently asked questions

  • dates.jpg.png
  • It’s important you can attend all the modules. If you can’t make the dates this year but would like to be added to the waiting list for the next programme, please email us at info@ambitopartners.com and we’ll keep you posted.

  • This public programme brings a mix of leaders together from different organisations to share their experiences of leading in today’s complex world. Sessions are delivered live online on the Zoom platform and are interactive with experiential learning and real-world application.  There is a 2 hr launch, 6 x 4-hr modules and 2 x 2 hrs leadership reflection (supervision) sessions spread  over 5 months, allowing time for practice and integration between modules.

The learning approach includes 30 hours of live learning & a minimum of 15 hrs of self-managed learning (including peer triad practice & reflective journaling).  You are also required to undertake 10 hours of coaching practice in the workplace.

  • Our leadership reflection sessions are group coaching supervision sessions – so like ‘coaching for coaches’. All credible coaches will regularly see a supervisor to keep their skills sharp and check in on their ethical practices. We believe that leader coaches should be no exception so you can bring your own leadership challenges to share in small groups as part of the programme and it can help in areas you feel stuck.

  • PLGs are Practice and Learning Groups.  We allocate you into triad groups and encourage you to meet up at least 3 times across the programme.  Triad work is widely used in coach training for experiential learning and feedback, stepping into 3 roles: a coach, a coachee and a supervisor.  Working in a triad allows you to take turns in each position, building on peer feedback and co-active experimentation.

  • No, we ask that you source your own coachees from your network, ideally within the working environment.  These may be your direct reports or individuals outside your direct area of work.

  • To gain the Coaching Award, you have to complete the programme and submit a reflective presentation of learning and application, and a log of your 10 hours coaching and self-study time.

  • Our 2026 Future Fit Leadership: Coaching in Action programme is best suited for individuals who are already at a management level within their organisation.  If you have any concerns, contact jacqui.fairbrass@ambitopartners.com to chat about whether this programme is suitable for you, or whether one of our other programmes may be more appropriate.

  • In addition to the scheduled sessions, we recommend 1-2 hrs per week of additional work . This may include workplace coaching, peer triad practice or additional reading, listening to podcasts or videos and reflection.

  • The maximum number of leaders on the programme is 12

  • The price is £2,200 plus VAT.  The investment is the same for all participants but self-funders can pay in instalments to spread the cost or we can help you with some materials to persuade your employer to fund you.

  • We can arrange payment plans to spread the cost of the course over the length of the programme – please get in touch with us via email at info@ambitopartners.com if this would be of use to you.

  • We will recommend a reading list that include many online articles and videos however you may wish to purchase some of your own coaching texts.  Our recommended core text for this programme is Kidby, J. Coaching as a Leader, (2025), Kogan Page
